Who are we?
We are a small business who hand-make 100% cotton face masks in a range of prints and colours. Set up in 2020 by Sophie, a freelance print designer from Brighton, we are passionate about creating masks that will bring people joy as well as helping people to protect each other. Sophie loves living by the sea and enjoys the many benefits that come with it.
What do we sell?
Our adult sized face masks are triple layered, breathable cotton with a built-in bendable nose strip and elastic which sits across the back of the head for a more comfortable fit. We stock various prints and colours to suit a variety of tastes. Eco-friendly, reusable and washable, they are all lovingly created by Sophie in her studio in Brighton.
Why am I Ethicul?
Doing our bit to help protect the environment is really important to us which is why we decided to create fabric face masks which can be used again and again. All of our fabrics are sourced from local businesses, our mailing bags are reusable and compostable plus Sophie often hand delivers local orders on her bicycle, all things which help to reduce our carbon footprint. We also wanted to show our thanks to the NHS for all their hard work throughout this difficult time so in the first two months of business 20% of our profits were donated to NHS Charities Together. We also made a number of masks from donated fabrics which were given to the staff at Aspens, a charity that works to support people living with disabilities, complex needs and autism.
