This year why not give the gift of planting trees and help to restore the natural world?
It may sound a bit different we know, however we are in a climate crisis and we need to act. The World Land Trust works with in-country partners to protect crucial areas of land, selecting sites that are rich in biodiversity and that support long-term conservation goals to connect and enlarge protected areas.
A donation this year will mean the World Land Trust can plant trees and ensure that they are protected, reclaiming some of the land back that our consumption habits are causing due to mass deforestation.
How it works?
So far, support for Plant a Tree has planted over 2 million trees across 5,930 acres. The WLT's partners are involved in every step of the reforestation process, this means that each £5 donation covers the seed collection, growing, planting and protection, guaranteeing a new forest to help biodiversity and tackle climate change.
